Sorry about missing in action. I've spoken to Philip, the investor who visited Dan last week and he gave me a really detailed update on whats going on and to give him time till the end of October.

Well, I think its wiser to give him some time to come back and explain to everyone, and if anyone wants to talk to Philip, I could ask him to come to this forum to explain.

Not that I want to give him any chance, but should we release his information, we're not getting anything back, that's for sure.

What's everyone's choice?

I'm with you on this Jude. If there is the slightest chance that Dan will give us something back, I would rather wait a while and see what happens. He needs to consider what will happen if you take whatever action you intend. I don't know what you have in mind, but if you have a plan it sure beats whatever most of the rest of us can do. I would have no choice but to drop the whole thing and give up. I would like to have him suffer some consequences, but only when that is the only possible ending to this mess. I will just keep on waiting and watching.

I agree with exercising patience if there is any remote possibility of recovery, since as soon as you release any personal information Dan will be forced into a defensive mode, which will probably be run and hide.

Maybe you could ask Philip to provide a summary of his discussions, any reasonable input of information would be helpful.

I know. I'm waiting out for this last week too before taking any drastic actions. This is the week whereby I was promised by Dan that he will be showing us some movements.

On top of that, nothing heard out from him again.

OK, but this is it as far as I am concerned. The more time we put off taking action the less credible the threat is that we will actually do it. I want the funds back as much as anyone else but this is not acceptable. Going to the authorities won't get us the money back but Dan might consider whatever punitive consequences he might face as a 'payment' of some sort. The plan is that he will deem this 'payment' to be more costly in personal terms than just giving us back what we are owed. This only works if he believes we will follow up on our threats. This has been dragged on far enough as it is and at some point we have to follow through with it.

I am with you on this, but I just have to pull through with consensus. Also, I'll be asking Philip to come join us in this forum. Trust us if anyone wants this to happen properly, it'll be us two. And marc too for sure.

Hello, it's me, Dan. Sorry for the new username, I cannot seem to reset the password for the old one.

I think I should begin with an apology for not making public updates for months at a time. I have been busy, tired, depressed, you name it, but then again I haven't stopped working. I feel that I should mention I haven't come here trying to buy myself time for anything really. I haven't 'gone into hiding' and won't do that no matter what.

So what's happening with me lately? I've been working 12 - 18 hours a day for the last 7 - 8 months, trying to actually get somewhere with the refund process and everything else.

Something really important you might not know: we've been through 2 major downs and ups so far in the last year concerning the whole fund. One was a year ago, another one in March when refunds stalled again. Everything else in-between was just problems over problems and me working desperately trying to take us back on track somehow.

It was my decision to keep this information away from everyone, and as bad as this decision may have been, I take full responsibility for it. The reason is simple, I probably wouldn't have had a chance to try to recover.

I know the opportunity of coming clean and actually showing you guys something tangible is closing on me really fast after so much time spent in the dark but one way or another we will close this chapter of our lives very soon. I would like to think we will close this in a good way, rather then the really really bad way. Of course I know the worse is possible from you guys, I'm 100% aware of it!

Philip visited me! We talked a lot and he has probably seen how simple and cheap I live and that I didn't steal any money from any of you.

It's Friday now, I don't have a lot at hand to present to you here and now.
Monday afternoon I will be back with more information and maybe we will even make some decisions concerning several things, regarding reimbursement and method of payment.

Jude, I won't be available until Monday. Philip ditto.

One more thought...

That's the problem with 'good admins gone bad' I keep reading, it leaves too much room for interpretation. What if it's still good admin trying to do the right thing (in my case), but do you actually know how hard it is to make money and everything else right?

Hey dan, its good to see you post again,

One way to stop the whole 'good admins gone bad' is constant updates, if you had come on here every week, ven if you had nothing new to report and just said that more people would be happy. I know you have been in contact with Jude, if you had shown him with accounts/evidence that he could verify then, again, that would have put more peoples mind at ease.

Well, lets hope this is not just another stalling tactic but a genuine update.
