I am sure at the start of Life Holdings Dan had very good intentions, but as LH grew and more and more money came pouring in and seeing all that money in your account can really tempt people. Dan must have started to sway to the DARK side.

I guess in Romania, cost of living is lower than in the west so with that amount of money he could be living quite comfortably. I can imagine him during these few months have been reading this thread and having a really good laugh while we tear our hair out. I simply refuse to believe he cannot get to a computer or internet cafe to post some simple messages.

How long is it going to be this time? Can he put up a list of members and score them off as they are refunded, that way everyone can see where they are and when they are next.

In any case, i'd like to ensure everyone that I'm on it, but on the whole and other hand, it has to be him to prove to everyone that he is coughing all the money back.

I'd like to suggest that this thread be p/w protected or similar action taken to prevent Dan 'seeing' any further posts or "which actions to take" decided by those of us who are still waiting on said "refunds". He's not making public his plans, yet he sees what's moving his way by means of this thread. Not quite a balanced strategy.
I don't know what the real rules are for moving $ in/out of Romania, but he has had plenty of time to figure it out, aided by seeing there has yet to be any apparent action toward him. IMO, when/if he does 'negotiate' with Jude, his words can't be trusted. The money is long gone. Just another scumbag.

I think if we try not to lie to ourselves and accept that the money is gone or most of it. Dan isn't really bothered to be honest. He isn't really bothered with any threats of action or whatever Jude is going to throw at him. I and others do really appreciate your help on this Jude, but if Dan was really bothered he would at least come on and tell us what he's doing now and who he is refunding next etc.

One deadline after deadline after deadline....so far what has that threat accomplished? He's playing with us and we have to admit we have been absolute mugs. IF he does finally give me a refund I will give half to charity!

If you are really serious about refunding us then wire the money back to us Dan. Just walk into your bank, I will provide you my bank details to wire the money into.... HECK you can even deduct the wiring costs from what you owe me at least I will still get some money. How difficult can that be?

No I have a better idea. I trust Jude more. Why not wire the whole damn lot to Jude's account and let Jude handle the refunds? We all emailed Jude of the approx. amount owed to each of us. Then it should be a fairly simple job.

Is that a better idea Jude? can you contact Dan and ask him to transfer the whole lot of money to you?

mistertones: I'd prefer not to get involve in the refund process, else my integrity might be compromised. people might think i'm the bad guy if this craps up.

In any case, we're talking to a really exhausted Dan, whom.. I'm not sure what's going on behind as well. We'll see.
