Re: Life Holdings
My long term view still includes Life Holdings as a very small (membership and capital alike) fund for the gamblers, completely based on Betfair trading. This of course after all outstanding principal requests will be paid off.
However the big plan I have in mind is to launch the managed forex accounts together with Jude. If I can stick to my schedule, we should begin taking accounts sometime between February and May. I will focus most of my time and energy on trading starting next year so that's where we are heading.
Regards,
Dan

Re: Life Holdings
Dan,
This is my first post, but I have been reading the forum for quite a while. There is very little see on the Life Holdings forum. Anyway, as you know, I am not one of those looking for a refund. What would I do with it? I am just wondering if there will be a way for me to move funds from Life Holdings Betfair fund to the proposed new Forex fund. I would like to be able to diversify, if possible. I don't have additional funds available, and probably won't since I was just laid off of my part time job at a hardware store. Thanks for posting some really great information, and please keep it coming as long as it doesn't interfere with your investment activities.
Bruce

Re: Life Holdings
Dan,
Even when you were averaging 3% a week, my understanding is that it took many hours playing at Betfair each week to earn that return. If your plan for next year entails spending most of your time with FOREX trading, what kind of returns should Life Holdings investors expect?

Dan,
I've been a supporter of yours for some time now and I've given you a lot of slack in how you've been doing things, due to some knowledge I had of things going on behind the scenes, but I too am starting to tire of the terrible communication skills you are demonstrating. Not to mention the fact that you claim to have some wonderful long term plans, regarding MA accounts, etc.. but if you still haven't lived up to your goals with your current LH members
Talk of doing anything new should be completely put on the back burner until you've refunded EVERY penny that has been asked for, then allowing those that are still invested in LH the option to move their holdings to your new venture.
Until you have cleaned up the outstanding refund requests and got your house in order as it is, you are simply moving rapidly down the common scam artist path of excuse after excuse.. I still do believe you at this point and will continue for a very short while longer give you the benefit of the doubt.. but I must tell you that time is rapidly running out.
Looking forward to some frank answers without the run around and rhetoric of late.

Re: Life Holdings
Whats happening right now is indeed very sad. More sadder is, he don't even have the sincerity and kindness to greet his loyal membership a "happy holidays" even for the sake of a mere face value.
It's been close to 6 months now since we entrusted him of a second chance, and not one single "positive and definite" news have been delivered on those times.
I think more than anything else, the membership would trully like to see HONESTY and SINCERITY, and TRUE SENSE OF COMMUNICATION from Dan no matter how painful the current situation is. It's been long overdue and his loyal members have been deprived of transparency and clarity of direction in which LH is undertaking.
I wouldn't want to anticipate a class "action" (legal/mutual) against Dan this coming 2008 but the realities are slowly becoming unendurable and the sorrow that the membership is dealing right now is beyond infliction. By the looks of it, this optional solution is becoming more of a probability. 6 months I believe is enough timeframe and cushion period to redeem the program - or at least show and prove something positive for LH as far as the direction goes for the program. Otherwise, the option to terminate the program and refund everyone is the only appropriate and rightful medium to undertake.
I'm not sure there is enough chances and time left for everyone -- most specially for the program and its administrator. The membership have bestowed enough kindness, understanding and tolerance to the situation. It's high time that the membership be reciprocated with something definite and be compensated with their sacrifices and generous disposition to Dan and his program.
Otherwise, an alternative feasible action needs to be undertaken as soon as possible.
I wish everyone a peaceful and happy holidays and a positive 2008.

Re: Life Holdings
I'm sick of Dan's lack of communication.
On Monday, Dec 17th, Dan said he was ready to send my withdrawal by bank wire. He said "I will e-mail you again when I receive confirmation from the bank."
On Wed, Dec 19th, two days later, I still hadn't heard from him. I sent him an email saying "Dan, your lack of communication is unacceptable. Come on. Have you put in an order for the wire yet? If not, why not? Has the wire been issued yet? If not, why not? COMMUNICATE WITH ME."
On Fri, Dec 21st, he finally got back to me. All he said was "The wire was sent."
On Sun, Dec 23rd, I said "Thanks Dan. What day was the wire sent exactly? Also, was it one wire for the total amount or two for half?"
It's now been another four days and I haven't heard anything from Dan. I've been checking my back account and there's no sign of the wire transfer.
All in all, Dan is proving himself to be a very poor manager. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER DAN. What day was the wire transfer actually sent?
