About the backoffice:
I would think that for security purposes you only keep the backoffice for members update of their balance..
not to automaticaly do the deposit/withdraw..

I will give you an example with our program. We have no databases and we only work with an excel template, backups and emails (better hushmail because members can send and receive their messages encrypted and digitally signed). We think that it´s safer going this way and the members´ money can not be hacked.

We had a website without databases and members could see only their current balance there, but finally it was a bad solution because you have to update manually all the accounts and when the program grew up a lot then it was a nightmare. We think that it´s easier answering members with the current balance and any information when they request it.

Only my thoughts.
