First we would like to say, we hope you are all well and happy. Thanks to the members who were on the last conference call, we hope you were all happy to hear from Craig and the support team. 417 days and still going strong.
We just wanted to update you on 3 things.
First....
We know that the finders fee rules, about having to wait to deposit any finders fee's you receive is a bit confusing and annoying. Not knowing when you can use your finder's fees is frustrating we know.
So we have come to a decision that we feel will benefit all the members.
Effective immediately....
ALL finders fees that you receive from your personal referrals in the 120 day and 365 day PLP's, you will be allowed to use after 90 days for the purpose of adding to or starting a new loan. for ex: If you sign up a new member and he/she creates a new loan in any of the 120 or 365 day PLP's, you will be allowed to use any finders fees that you receive, 90 DAYS after your referral initiates their loan.
It can be a new loan or a rollover loan.
You may ask, "well how do I know when they made their loan?".
1. Log into your EBL back office.
2. Click on the link "finders history"
3. You will see the dates you received a finders fee.
-You should have also received an email saying you received a finders fee.
4. Count 90 days from that date and that is when you can use the funds that you have received from any finders fees.
Simple.
you may ask....
"So how do I know if they initiated a 30 day loan?"
If You have a referral that initiates a loan in the 30 day fund, we will endeavour to email you, saying that you have had a referral deposit funds into a 30 day loan and you will be able to use these funds after 30 days for the purpose of adding to or starting a new loan.
Why did we do this?
Because as it stood before the change, some people had to wait a full 120 or 365 days to use any referral fees they had received from personal sign ups. So..now you don't have to wait so long to use your referral fees.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact support. We would rather you understand things first by us explaining it to you, than having to undo mistakes.
Keep in mind that this will only be a temporary solution until we get the new script up. With the new script you will be able to see every loan and every transaction that goes through your account. Again we appreciate your patience.
Second...
We have recently over the past couple of weeks had a few members deposit funds directly to our paypal account, without going through the site to initiate there loan. Then they leave it a few days and email us to say that they do not see their loan or funds in their EBL account. ....well if you do not initiate your loan through the EBL site first..you wont.
If you log into your account and see that the funds you sent to us directly through Paypal are not there, it is because you always need to initiate a loan through the EBL site first. You can not simply send funds to our Paypal account or any of our funding accounts and think that we will initiate your loan for you. We can not continually cross reference the dozens of transactions that go through our accounts every day, if you are not correctly initiating your loans in the correct way through the site.
So...
Please DO NOT send money Directly to ANY of our accounts.
Please DO.. Initiate your loan from the EBL site first and it will take you through the steps to deposit via your chosen processor or payment option.
We hope that clears up the issue for some people.
THIRD...
OK, we screwed up....BUT this does not hurt anyone.
In the past we had a maximum $500 limit that you could deposit via E-Gold. We have recently had a large deposit over $2900 via E-Gold and we did not realise that the page stating that the maximum of $500 no longer stated the maximum amount allowed. This happened when the site went offline for a day in January, we had to re-upload the back up of the database and we did not catch that the maximum limit page did not load. The original reason behind our limit was due to the fact that not many people used E-Gold to fund there accounts (under 7% of members).
So....
We have decided to lift the $500 maximum restriction temporarily and we will see if keeping E-gold as a payment processor is still warranted. Again.. we want to stress that any little glitches will be fixed on the new site.
