Default PPRei

Is anyone in this real estate based HYI program? It uses FriendlyPay's escrow service and looks really promising a few months back.

PPREI - Home

Though I haven't heard out from the administrator for a really long time. I'd like to see if there's any existing investors in this one.

I'm a member but I have yet to invest any money. I'm going to research this a bit first.

Anyone already have $ in this real estate program?

I like the concept. However, I looked through their forum and didn't like what I saw...
  • Their forum hasn't been updated in months.
  • In February the admin mentioned that a new site and forum is in the works. Here it is July and it doesn't look like it was done.
  • Also in February the admin mentioned that PPRei was coming up on their 1 year online anniversary, yet the forum start in October '06.
  • The last been paid post is in November '06. There are very, very few been paid posts. I do understand that real estate takes a LONG time to get payment. So, if none of the properties are earning rental and/or have been sold, then it would explain the few IGP posts. On the other hand, why are there IGP posts only a month after the forum opened and all of the IGP posts are in the same month. I also understand that only a % of people join a program's forum and only a % of those actually post IGP.
  • They had/have an "Early Bird" special plan with set limits, however they say that they passed that limit, but they are keeping the option open anyway.
  • There doesn't seem to be a lot of information out there when I googled them. The information that is there is months old.

I didn't bother to do any DD. The forum posts stink. Has anyone done any DD on them? Are they actually registered anywhere? Where are they located? Who are they? Has anyone looked at the properties to make sure that they are real and are really owned by PRRei? And the list of questions go on and on.

IF they are real, they would be worth it. However, right now I wouldn't advise it, unless some real proof can be found. I won't be signing up until things can be proven. Then I won't actually invest unless I gain my own comfort level. IF they are real, it is well worth the 2 year wait.

Alin: Are you getting regular newsletters from them? That was something else that they announced they will be doing.

JMO,
Sharon

Nope..I'm not getting any regular newsletters as I just signed up like a few days ago.

I must admit I like the idea of investing in offshore real-estate but I would like to see if we can get some more detailed DD on this program.

Jude, I was wondering if you've tried to approach the admin to conduct an interview and or get DD info on this program?

The use of FriendlyPay's escrow service I suppose make the program a lot safer than your average HYIP ponzi scam as they get their payment only once you've confirmed receival of at the very least your principal back from your investment.

Well, I just send a request to the admin for DD info, so now it's time to see if he/she would respond (I believe it is a HE since on the forum he goes by the name of Rupert).

one quick update: I have their company registration number (PPREI LTD Registered No. E.36117) so I'll try to call the Turks and Caicos (where this company is incorporated) finance department and try to validate their info.

Companies Registry:946-2801/946-2550
Superintendent Offshore Finance Center:
946-2791 F: 946-2821 F (Provo): 946-4718

these are the numbers to call in case any of you want to beat me to the punch ....

It was about half a year ago before most communication between us cease. He doesnt reply to email, and there was this period of time that their site got DDOSed pretty badly.

Another way is to get FriendlyPay's contacts and ask, though I'm not too sure whether they're willing to diverge whether there's any recent escrow transactions going on.

Ok here is some DD on PPREI.

Date of registration:15 Aug 2006

PPREI LTD Registered No. E.36117
talked to the Turks & Caicos government company registration office and they've confirmed the validity of the registartion number.

company agent:

meridian trust company ltd.
po box 599
Caribbean place

Meridian Trust Company Ltd.
Meridian House, Caribbean Place
Leeward Highway
P.O. Box 599, Providenciales
Turks & Caicos Islands
British West Indies

Meridian Trust Company Turks and Caicos Islands

I've called Meridian Trust Company and they've confirmed that indeed they're the registered agent for PPREI LTD.

I've also asked the admin if he's willing to conduct an interview with me which will be posted on my blog, but we shall see if he agrees. So far I've received no response and I sent him the e-mail about two days ago. I heard that the admin has a reputation for the lack of communication. Anyways, let me know if any of you find more info on this program.

The problem is that except for the early bird plan(24x100$) you need at least 2000$ to invest into PPREII. There are zero people from the Hyip world investing into this. So its tough to say whether this program is real or not as noone we know invested in it.

well I'm not surprised that there are "zero" people from the HYIP world investing in this as you probably know HYIPsters either don't have large sums of money or they are just so risk averse that any sum larger than $500 scares the living daylights out of them. In the real world of investing $2000 is peanuts. I'm still doing DD on this program. My hope is that I'll be able to chat with the admin via phone or skype or something to squeeze out someo more info.

The real problem is that the majority of hyipers, but also lyipers(people that spend in serious programs) are not very wealthy. A lot are teenagers or young students who have not a single cent in their bankaccount.

A very few like me work for their money(they got a job), but again I am not rich either, my bankaccount is in the negative as well most of the time.

Someone who really has a lot of money invest it offline and immidiatly 200k at once. The risk an admin online runs away with the money is simply too big.
