There is a good reason to not see any posts about GHPi in open forums, this has been strictly advised against at the risk of losing one's account. I don't have a problem with this, and imo it is for the good of the program.

Hi Grateful,

Thanks for your reply. I have profited in GHPi too. April 15 is the last day to deposit in RE 8% weekly. I just don’t know if I should put in another $1k in RE before the deadline or not. I always wonder how long they will last. What do you think?

I am in BP, but I have not recouped the principal yet. The fact that we can compound or cash out daily in BP tells us that it is a pure ponzi. So I don't know how safe is BP?

Normally when a program goes private and then opens again for new members, it is a red flag. Also they keep changing the investment plans, it is also not a good sign. Do you agree?

It appears to me GHPI opened for new members due to many members migrating to another related investment plan, but the facts were never clear to me. It could have been attrition. In adjusting to RE investing, GHPI opened with a daily plan and since added 4 other plans. As the program has matured, I believe it has become more cognizant of the short term and long term cash flow demands of RE projects, eg new plans being offered. I suppose these too could be perceived as RED flags. GHPi has established a membership cap and funding/returns analysis ratios respective to a large membership goal. I will be interested to see what happens after 4/15.
I could be dead wrong; of course open to discussion.

The minimum investment is $100, but that plan is closing on April 15th. I think that the next minimum is $250. From what I could find, it looks like they invest in multiple stock markets and their own payment processor, but that's not verified. They say they opened in 2004 and two forum posts support this, but their first website dates from June 2006. According to their FAQ, they use e-gold, bank wires, Moneypay-Europe, Be-Cash, IOP, GHPcash, NetPay, e-bullion, and Alertpay. They have a sister site called Blue People.

That being said, there are more open questions than there are answers. It's strange that as I read through forum posts there were no real discussions about GHPi. There were those posting copies of information from the website and some simple "I got paid" or "I'm in/out." Lack of discussion, even for a private program, isn't good.

Here's the history as far as I've read (I'm not in it and none of the following is verified.)
  • Began in 2004 with an email system. (Really?)
  • June 2006 opened the website GHPi.org with 710 members and ~$5K in deposits and no withdraws. New members given 16 hours to deposit.
  • December 2006 went private and proceeded to make multiple TOS/plan changes.
  • March 21, 2007 reopened for new members by invitation and new members given 72 hours to deposit. Also announced that the lowest minimum deposit plan is closing on April 1st, then changed it to April 15th.

From their history, I speculate that they really opened in June 2006. There is no real proof of their outside income stream. Their TOS is a copy of many other sites, including the paragraph abount being US SEC exempt, which is weird for a Hong Kong company. Then there is the open/close/open of membership, forced rush to deposit, and plan changes. To top it off is their refusal to answer questions, other than those already answered on their site. These signal red flags. My speculation is that it is too late to make a new deposit.

Does anyone trust them? If yes, why?

Thanks,
Sharon

Hmm..Blue People! Now I'm a bit concerned..I smell a scam..that site looks like a typical ponzi site...

Both GHPI and Blue-people are most likely scams. The only question is how long they will last. Their admins seem to be of the category which struggles to the end, adds new stuff etc. So I won't be surprised if they create another satelite program

Lol..great..I already put $100 into this program and since the investment term is 1 year I guess I can consider my money about as good as gone.

I have decided not to put in more money in GHPi . Remember how they said VIP was the last day to deposit and now they opened VIP plan again. Well today they say no more RE Plan, may be 2 months later it is opened again. If it is still around, by that time I have more than I can afford to lose.

From here it also reminds me of CEP, in which I am taking the chance. Really for how much longer can they go on? Their return is even much much more astronomical compared to GHPi. Don’t you think so? They have and will create lots of millionaires. CEP is even more of a mystery to me.

Lol..I just hope that they last 1 more year so I can get my money out, but I have a eery feeling that they might not make it.

I think so also, blue-people for example is using an UNLICENSED goldcoders script (verify at GoldCoders, Check Domain License ) and also their SSL certificate is issued by theirself, not by a trusted 3th party (no verisign, comodo, thawte). Do you really that any serious business would be doing business with nulled scripts and not valid SSL certificates?

Ok, lol...I'm gonna see if they can cancel my investment as I've done it only yesterday, and if their program is truly based on real estate than surely they haven't already moved my piddly $100 into a "project". I am sure they won't mind, as they probably have bigger sheep to fleece.

Hi Allinvain,

Just look at the bright side. May be 2 months later I am here to tell you that, “Hey folks, I just put more in their new RE 8% weekly plan.” That is not the end of the world. Besides, GHPi has been paying flawlessly. Don't let us scare you.
