I can't believe I got my assss banned from Goldentalk from posting my opinion ... Jambutty is such a joke that's in a state of denial ... oh well

I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade nor be pessimistic since I'm not a member ...

but, if I was trying to pull a stunt, get away with it and not having anyone hunting me down ... this is what i would do, assuming the stolen funds is really not stolen and stashed away somewhere else ....

--- Claim to borrow money from who or whatever and use my own assets ....
--- Use the North Finance or whichever's Demo account that starts you out with $100,000 and deliberately executing losing trades (which is very easy in the forex market), gradually that is ...
--- Then, get all or most of the transactions captured as a screenshot for everyone to see and witness ...
--- Most if not all of the investors in here will be under the impression that I've made my best effort to recover everyone's loss, then ended up taking a final and major loss ... Now remember, the Club will only come to an end when it is a legitimate loss ...
--- Now that everyone thinks that the loss is for real and I've lost most of my assets and owe whoever/whatever money, there's no point in coming after a broken person, you've nothing to gain ...
--- Close the program and everyone go their little merry way sad and somewhat satisfied ....
--- Finally, after all of the dust and storm had settled, I can go and retired in peace, assuming that the so-called stolen funds is enough to retired on ...

This is just a pessimistic conspiracy theory of mine .... and it's not a bad idea either ... just think about it ...

I can just about guarantee if Jambutty hadn't invested just a few days ago he wouldn't have banned you guys. He let his emotional attachment to CFX get the better of him and it robbed him of his objectivity. Sad, really. He's a well intentioned guy but, like the rest of us, he's only human.

Schminner,if you were to ever run a program I wouldent give you a nickel, You seem to have this problem of Peters and CFX members figured out pretty well!!! Maybe to well!! Why would someone try to pay back members if it was a scam? Why wouldnt he just disappar to a beach somewere?

Interesting post. I can sort of see why you were banned but I do not agree with it. It is just an opinion and not an attack.

I do see a problem with that scenario, due to CFX having such a good trading record (at least reflected in consistent + payouts) I would smell a rat as soon as there was consistent losing trades. Not that I could afford to chase him down.

I am still sitting on the bench as to whether I believe his reports or not and will just wait and see what happens with the payouts if they happen.

Welcome to NN. I expect we will see Dawg in here soon too.

The bans been lifted already - but the alter-egos are still banned.

Can someone explain a couple of questions that are still nagging at me. Mind you I am alittle naive about some of this and don't really understand the trading plateforms yet but here are a couple of questions I still have.
With everything going on at e-gold at the time wouldn't that have been the worse thing to do. Even though the trading platform he was using was e-gold based - even worse case and e-gold shut down wouldn't another method of withdrawl from trade be provided. (although maybe taking longer and more fees) Hense wasn't things safer in trade given the e-gold problem.
How much do people move at one time through e-gold? Surely a single move of 600,000 - 1K. (estimates I've heard) might have raised a red flag even with the feds given what was going on.
I'm still having a hard time believing some of this, I hope the recovery plan is for real. If it is my hats go off to PeterB.

I got nervous about a large amt. sitting in e-gold myself and since my exchanger was down I thought it was safer in ClubFX for another month (and another program I'm interested in stopped e-gold) Kick myself!!!!!! Must have deposited shortly befor the hack that day.
