I received an expected reply from e-gold regarding the freeze on the "Paul Roeder" account: they wouldn't tell me a thing about the account without a subpoena.
As I stated before, an HYIP scammer wouldn't generally go to great lenghts to legitimize his claims. PeterB claimed that the account had indeed been frozen.
If PeterB has really asked the court to freeze the account, on or around the 1st of may, that would be a major point in his favor.
From my experience, when an account is frozen, it simply disappears from the database. Which is not the case with Paul Roeder's account. It is still showing as blocked on e-gold's spend page. I could be wrong.
