Hey there PeterG,

Yes, I smell something rotten too .... maybe it's me ...

Look at the bright side, if you were to throw comments like this at the GT forum, you would certainly be banned from the forum ... nonetheless, nice to see you here

If you want to discuss North Forex trading, go to or open new North Forex trading topic.

I think that's where PeterB, Club-FX Admin, allegedly did his trading before the investor's money presumably vanished into thin air ...

Sorry, my bad. I meant North Finance.

That (and maybe, Jude could confirm it as I understand he got some sort of mentoring from PeterB at the time) was supposed to be where PeterB had the Club-FX trading account after he transferred it from Marketiva when the investment amount exceeded the limits there.

The funds were transferred from Marketiva to North Finance since CFX was growing at a rapid pace at the point of time.

I received an expected reply from e-gold regarding the freeze on the "Paul Roeder" account: they wouldn't tell me a thing about the account without a subpoena.

As I stated before, an HYIP scammer wouldn't generally go to great lenghts to legitimize his claims. PeterB claimed that the account had indeed been frozen.
If PeterB has really asked the court to freeze the account, on or around the 1st of may, that would be a major point in his favor.

From my experience, when an account is frozen, it simply disappears from the database. Which is not the case with Paul Roeder's account. It is still showing as blocked on e-gold's spend page. I could be wrong.

Hey Jude,

Interesting comment you made above. I have never heard of a forex account being TOO large for a broker. It must have been millions of dollars. I mean the FX market moves over a trillion a day how big was the account that PeterB was trading that is was too large for Marketiva? Or are they just some small time nickel and dime outfit?

I know of a few people that over a million each in their FX accounts they have been lead to believe by their brokers that there is NO such thing as a cap size on the account....

Interesting info I'd like to hear your follow up on that.

I think there's a cap at Marketiva for accounts over 1k? Or is it 10k? Not really sure about the actual figure, but I'm positive there is a limit.
