Proptop! Most excellent to have you with us on NN!
Rational speculation can serve a purpose. Besides blowing off steam and maybe relieving a little stress, it helps as a means of bouncing ideas off others in a similar predicament as your own. It can help in seeing things from a different perspective or in a context you wouldn't have otherwise seen on your own. This can aid in organizing your thoughts to generate new ideas and strategies. Call it conjectural brainstorming.
Everyone in the program would love nothing more than to have PeterB "make it back". To recover our lost funds. What's unclear is whether he
intends to "make it back". None of us knows for certain. Until PeterB proves he's being straight with us, doesn't it make sense to at least prepare the groundwork for legal action?
I'm hoping this would accomplish at least two things. First, provide an incentive for PeterB to carry through with a full and honest recovery. Second, have the machinery in place and ready to go into immediate action in the unlikely event he attempts to bolt.
