The Chattanooga office didn't close until May 14th or 15th, until it did it was business as usual for the remaining staff.

Dave,
Seriously are you kidding me. Those offices were shut down and the phones were not being answered and everyone especially Steve Johnson knew that taking new money was just plain criminal at that point.

Re: The Forex Project
Adam I understand you taking up for your family, you mention your sister and brother but what about your mother Angie Jefferson? You havent defended her. Is she guilty? Has she really ran off with your sisters babys daddy, Mr. Lou Rivas himself? Didnt you have a pregnant wife yourself? I know everyone is angry but you shouldnt do things to jeopardise yourself going to jail, and not being their for your own family.

Business as usual?!! NO investors were getting paid, NO employees were being paid, the Spartanburg office had been raided by the FBI, the FBI had been in the Chattanooga office, and Lou hadn't been heard from in weeks.
Dave_Walker, are you really saying that you would have accepted someone's money at this point? Anyone that did should be reported to the FBI because no reasonable person would agree that this is ethical business practices.
This would probably explain why Steve won't talk. He continued to profit off the scam as long as he could. I guess it made it easier for him to continue with his wedding plans at the end of the month and spend a week at the beach. Very interesting how that check was in the month of May and he seemed to have plenty of money even though he "supposedly" wasn't getting paid.

Re: The Forex Project
Just a reminder ******
The bankruptcy hearing is tomorrow morning and starts at 9am. The address is 31 E 11th Street, Chattanooga, TN The hearing will take place on the 3rd floor. It is open to the public. Anyone that can attend, please try and be there!
There will be testimonies being heard and a trustee will be appointed. This person will be key and should be the person you give any leads and information to from that point forward. (besides the FBI of course) Posting it on this forum just makes Lou and anyone helping him aware of what we know.
Have a good evening all!

Dave, I guess it makes perfect sense to you and Steve Johnson to keep taking people's money up to May since in April the FBI is hangging around the FX offices in the Carolinas and Chattanooga. I guess you and Steve thought that the FBI was looking for Lou to invest their money with him before they closed the office down for stealing people's money. I guess they couldn't answer the phone at the office b/c they were so busy with new investors and all. Yea, I guess that makes sense to you.

I thought you would like some useful information from someone that was actually there instead of all the second hand half truths being spread on the web. You seem to know exactly what is going on, would you like to share with us what was said in the 4 or so hour closed door meeting Lou had with the FBI in SC? Would you like to tell us what they asked when they came to the office here in Chattanooga? The FBI did not shut down The Forex Project after that meeting nor after visiting the Chattanooga office.

Re: The Forex Project
Wow Dave, so you are actually saying that you had no clue that anything was wrong until the office closed on May 15. You should be ashamed to admit to such stupidity.
I would like to think that Dave is not speaking for everyone else that worked there. Is there another employee out there that would agree with Dave? I just can't imagine that no one in the office was able to put the pieces together until May 15.

Dave, I apologize to you, but the reason I'm so ignorant it's b/c Steve Johnson won't answer my questions so all I have is what I read on this blog. Would you be willing to tell us what you know?

Dave,
Just want to ask a question here, not attacking or accusing you of anything, I have said in previous posts that everyone, investors and employees got taken in by Lou's charm...But, your above statement says that you were aware that Lou had a 4 hour meeting with the FBI, but yet you felt business was fine? Didn't you think it was wierd the FBI was there? Again, I am just asking you....Plus you have to realize, most posters on this forum have read articles on the web and in the paper that stated the FBI RAIDED the SC office, not went there to meet with Lou....so that's how most people are assuming it went down....the media does twist things....but this is what was said...
