Re: The Forex Project
Cara And Steed Will Go After Anyone
Here is a picture of Cara taking all the gifts from Santa Clause. Steed said it was a fraudulent transfer from a Ponzi scheme run by Toys R Us.
Santa's sleigh has been confiscated and will be sold at auction in the near future.
Santa's attorney had no comment, except to say Cara and Steed will be receiving coal next Christmas in their stockings.
Grey and Cara believe that Rudolf is on the run with several other employees, Donner and Blitzen. They believe the employees stashed millions of dollars in a Swiss numbered bank account. Grey is attempting to obtain the turnover of those funds.
We have heard rumors that a subpoena has been issued to the Easter Bunny as well.

Re: The Forex Project
Good News For Angie
She Won Her Case
If you haven't figured it out yet, I am Angie's boyfriend.
Just remember the number one boyfriend rule: Don't pick on my girlfriend.
It's been real
It's been fun
It just hasn't been real fun
Good luck to everyone now fighting a case and to those who haven't been hit yet, but will.

Re: The Forex Project
The Trustee third billing has just come out.
Trustee has recovered $3,567,074.57
There is $2,686,184.32 left.
$880,890.25 in expenses of which $801,859.63 has gone to the Trustee and the lawyers and investigators he’s hired. Not one case has even gone to trial yet, but when they do the lawyer fees will really go up. Then you're paying thousands per day per lawyer, expert witnesses, etc.
If all Steed did was clear out Rivas's accounts, sell Rivas's stuff, take in all the money and gifts that people, like me, just handed over in June and July 08 (totals from later date auctions were added because the items were ceded immediately and sold later) then sat back and collected interest he would have recovered $3,073,391.49!
1,879,455.01 In Rivas accounts and sale of his possessions
+ 1,185,274.58 Money and gifts voluntarily ceded
+ 8,661.90 Interest since 6/08
$3,073,391.49 Total They have charged $801,859.63 to recover only $493,683.08 more than what was there in July 2008!
This is all in court documents that you can look at and confirm yourselves. IM me here and I'll send them to you.

Re: The Forex Project
The trustee has spent more than $10,000 to sue me. I have told them repeatedly that even if they win I have no money and no assets so they can collect nothing.
The money they are suing me for was used for the business (like petty cash I withdrew for the Spartanburg trading center while they were going through managers too fast to put on a bank account and for the trucks and movers for all that furniture when I closed the Spartanburg center) or turned into them already (they’re still suing me for it). Since I was pregnant when TFP went under and later had complications with the pregnancy I was not able to get another job for a long time so what I had saved from my pay is long gone.
I’ve offered to give what money I have to spend on an attorney to settle but they’ve refused even though there have been others they were after for far more money and they settled for less than I’ve already handed over voluntarily.
They also want to drag this out even longer. We were in court today stopping them from extending. They wanted even more time and were trying to schedule when they could have their lawyers drive down to South Carolina to interview me again. Nope, they did not want to schedule a conference call - multiple lawyers charging a full day to drive here and back.
I don't have anything so going to court and winning a big judgment against me doesn’t hurt me it only hurts the estate.
Even though the creditors will get nothing – the lawyers get paid.

Re: The Forex Project
Why should Steed care if two dollars are spent for every one dollar added to the total amount recovered? He gets paid his percentage off that big number, the total amount recovered, before any costs are deducted.
On July 31,2008 Steed found $20,000 in checks written to TFP for seminars and deposited them to get a percentage of that money himself.
On July 31, 2008, months after the offices were closed, months after the company was in bankruptcy and a month after Rivas was arrested, Steed found $20,000 in checks left behind that were written to TFP for seminars that had long ago been canceled and deposited them** to raise the total amount recovered and to get a percentage of that money himself. Or do you really think that he, the one who had already told the press that this was all a big Rivas scam, thought these people would actually get the seminar they paid for?
** See these checks on page three of the Cash Receipts and Disbursements Record on the Applications of Trustee for Compensation and Reimbursement of Expenses and I did not include this $20,000 in the $3,073,391.49 that has been there since July 2008 mentioned before.

Re: The Forex Project
That is just wrong if he deposited those checks after the fact. Although, those people should have stopped payment on those checks when the seminars hadn't taken place and the bankruptcy was filed.
As I read those reports I came to the same conclusion that the only people making out on this are Steed and the lawyers and accountants. Charging $200-$300+ per hour eating up what little money has been collected. Steed says that maybe Rivas will talk after the sentencing next week but I doubt it. Maybe some people with priority will get some money but the investors won't get on thin dime when this thing is over with.
If this is how bankruptcy works it is really screwed up. I don't know which is worse, getting taken by Rivas or having these people that are supposedly on our side come in and take what is left.

I personally think that was a LUDICROUS sentence. Yes crimes were committed but many peoples lives were changed for the good. Mine had both good times and now has hit the bottom but I can't blame Lou Rivas for all of it. WE all choose to believe and follow the Forex Project DREAM, So I think that a person who commits murder gets a shorter sentence then someone who illegally spent peoples money.... Not for me, we all had the choice to give our money to him. We all wanted to follow the dream and make more money fast. To share the wealth, to better our lives. Well it didn't work. But no body died!! We may have had to move back to smaller homes, drive our old cars, look for a job again, like our wounds. Yet not one of us - employees - investors - dreamers - DID NOT DIE!! SO how could anyone of us think that someone should spend 24 years in jail. Here is an even bigger joke for those who think that its not long enough -- now you have to continue to support Lou Rivas for 8,760 days. You have to feed, cloth, shelter, educate and entertain him. I doubt that we will ever get any of our finances-investments back. So get on with your lives--- appreciate what you learned and the friends you met. Move on!!!

Re: The Forex Project
The reason 24 years isn't a ridiculous sentance is because he has spent the last 25+ years running cons when he hasn't been locked up. The only way to protect society from this guy is to keep him behind bars. It is obvious that the guy has no conscience and he never will. The moment he got out he would be running scams and stealing innocent people's money. Nobody put a gun to our heads that is true and nobody got killed but does hundereds of families losing their life savings have any less devastating effect?
