Thing is Dan. There is always conflict between academics and practioners. You go to any top flight business school doing post graduate MBAs etc and most professors would say its a random walk and you can't predict using technicals.

I guess that's why most of them are teaching...

I'll pop round every now and again. Thing is I've never been good at explaining how I trade. This forum ought to be forex based and you'll find many traders dropping by. It's the hyip promotions that will deter them.

he he he same problem here Bill. Well it's not really a problem, I just find it hard to put my thoughts and ideas into writing

Jude and our great team of moderators will keep this forum clean from hyip junks. If a program stands out of the crowd, there will be talks about it, otherwise it will end up in the SCAM folder fast.

I enjoyed reading Reminiscences of a Stock Operator last year. I will have to check out the second book you have recommended

Agree. I use MACD and RSI in weekly chart to see the direction.

Please dont say fundamental useless!!! The people who follow them know their importance. Basically people dont invest for long in forex thats why they do not follow much of fundamentals. But for stocks it is a big key. I am trading with Finexo who is providing mostly the technical views but for trades i do take the view of fundamentals through different site so that all my trades are refined.
