I'm on the lookout for a free or cheap news alert service that is fast enough to trade news events.

I've done a little searching and came up with a few possibles so thought I would start a thread here in case anyone knows of better solutions.

• TradeTheNews.com - from $130 mth with 1 week free trial.
• NewsStrike.com - 100% free delivered by teamspeak audio to your desktop. Reported to be fast but only open during NY trading hours.
• Briefing.com - from $30 to $300 mth with a free entry level service option.
• Bloomberg.com
• Market News International

I've only sent off the email to apply for NewsStrike so far so can't comment on any of them personally yet.

Anyone have experience with any of these or know of others?

I used TNT before, I think it was charging me about $30 monthly without all the features. Good stuff, but still, I dont think I'll need it if I'm not trading news.

u can go with kind of autoclicker software like secretnewsweapon or forexmuse
i used snw few months ago and it was great... the number comes around few miliseconds after news released.....
the problem is at broker side, which is very hard to get filled during news time.
at normal time, u can see 10-30 millions liquidity on gbpusd but it is suddenly gone at news time

I like CNBC news and Finexo technical news for keeping myself updated. also one blog which i forgot to mention that is FOREX TRADING.
