Well you will be making the right decision Dolphin . . . I have used Macs all my working life and although this is posted from a PC laptop I also have a Mac, although it is one of the first releases of the "anglepoise lamp" version it is still more reliable than a PC. I use both Mac and PC at work although that one is an old one running OS9.
What knarks me about PCs is the "boink" sound when a driver does not load up, but does it tell you which one? Not even an error message so you're left wondering which one it was!
Although the old OS 9 on a Mac was prone to crashing now and then, just as with a PC, at least with OS X you have a stable platform and I have never had a crash on mine in about the 4 or 5 years I have had it.

From my experience all applications or games worth spending your time with are (or will be) available on the mac (either on Linux or mocos format), so IMHO there is no need in fiddling with windows on a mac anyway. The only downside with mac as I see it, is the price at the moment.

JokingAside,

start->run and type eventvwr.msc then click on system
you will see a red circle with an X next to one or some of the entries there.
click-click (double click) on that entry and it will show you which driver did not load..

Hi Everyone,

I copied all of the Mac posts to a new thread, PC vs Mac. That way we can get back to the original topic.

Thanks,
Sharon

lol, that's the way how microsoft works.

Still I dont see any much revolutionary change on Vista apart from copying loads of OS X stuffs.

lol nice to see this turn into a mac discussion

I have heard from a fairly reliable source that vista is basically a clone of OSX, and that it cannot crash just like OSX?.....apparently, even though it is a reliable source, I still a little weary of that, microsoft not crashing....impossible!.
