Wow... now that is interesting. I know betonmarkets had to cease allowing UK users to use their pool trading stuff... but extending that to auto-traded signal services sounds a bit rough.

Well being from the UK myself, that limits my options somewhat but not completely. Thinking about it, if somebody could be bothered with the hassle (plus it would be quite illegal so naturally no-one here would even consider it), they could actually base a sustainable hyip upon this system. Although, it appears the scammers don't do too bad out of this arena already.

As for the prices of the signals, I assume the provider sets the price themselves, passing on a percentage to Collective. As far as I can tell the revenue the signal providers get is pure profit (ie doesn't cost anymore to send out more signals) so some might want to have few subscribers but charge loads, but others might try to increase their profit by setting the price low.

You'll always get people interested in free stuff. Some of the best material on the internet is free. Heck, look at ForexFactory.

So, um...who would be providing the signals?

Judging by the wide variance in costs from one sp to the other (some are free or have free trial periods) I think you've hit very close to the mark.

I'd be. It'll be for educational purposes anyway

I am setting up an old domain I have with a wordpress blog and Simons plugin... was thinking of using RSS feeds from places like forexfactory where some traders publish demo signals free as the main content.. or something along those lines.

It comes up #1 in Google for the search "free forex signal"

I hadn't really decided exactly what to do... but maybe we can help each other somehow... ie I republish your signals as my content... and sell links and paidposts etc via Simon for income. (I like sites that make money automatically)

I've got a couple of other good forex domains from a joint project that didnt go ahead in 2005 and need to get off my ass and "monetize" them somehow as well.
