Okay, I only know e-gold.
I do not know the other e-currencies.
I know e-gold is in trouble and so the exchangers.

Now, can I change my e-gold to another e-currency and make a cashout afterwards to my bank account?

I think you can choose to outexchange to Alertpay or Paypal using Scriptlance. That's as far as I heard but no sources confirming for me as yet.

Hi Jan,

Scriptlance has a notice on its site that they are not taking e-gold exchanges at the moment.

Alertpay is not exchanging e-gold at the moment, the last I heard.

Below is a link that shows some of the top exchangers. I use e-Forexgold, which is particularly good in Australia.

Lol...Ice-gold is on this list, and it's possible a few of the others are no longer viable.

The London Gold Exchange and the Bullion Exchange seem to be popular and as far as I know are still doing e-gold exchanges, but it's hard to keep up with who is doing what these days.

But, again, it depends on where you live as to which one would suit you the best.

I've decided to get the new Aussie debit card offered by e-Forexgold, as it also serves as an ecurrency debit card and one can load it with e-gold and cash out at the ATM. The link is:

I checked with e-Forexgold a few days ago, and they said they are back trading e-gold but are keeping a close eye on the situation.

e-gold has sold a big amount of its reserves
Reserves as of May 3rd (82,163.301 Troy ounces) in the google cache:

So it is likely that they are trying to obtain the cash to be able buy e-gold from exchangers and all the e-gold system is back to normal business.

Hello,

Another exchanger that is currently out-exchanging e-gold is GoldEx Buy / Sell / Exchange e-gold and other Currencies. You can either request a check or have them bank wire. Hope this helps.

Actually, Jude, you were right about AlertPay. While AlertPay will not allow to fund AP with e-gold, they are allowing withdrawals to e-gold.

I just withdrew from my AlertPay to my e-gold account. It takes 2 days.

This card is sooo great! I have already cashed out my e-gold with it. What I like about this card is that it can also be used for purchases via point of sale terminals,the cash can be withdrawn in Australia and around the world. The fees are very low indeed.
