Re: How can I cashout e-gold now
I saw a notice on the Goldex site that they are temporarily stopping e-gold outexchanges "due to the situation at e-gold".
And AlertPay will now withdraw to e-Gold for verified members only. (photo id and proof of residence). If you are not a verified member, they will decline the withdrawal request to e-gold.
I suspect AlertPay may stop allowing withdrawals to e-gold altogether once they get rid of all the e-gold they have on hand, so if that is the only reason one would get verified, it might be worth waiting to see what develops with e-gold's longer term viability.
To how many of these online pay processors and/or e-gold exchangers does one want to give out one's private details?

How did you manage to load your card with E-gold?
The 'Submit' button in the E-Gold 'Card Loading' page is not working!
I've complained about this 5 times by phone, twice bu internal message!
No response to any of them! - Their phone answering service tells me that
lots of people are complaining about lack of response, too!
Can someone convince me that this is not a scam?

Re: How can I cashout e-gold now
Has anyone omnipay verified tried to outexchange with them? as far as I know they are honoring outexchanges to individuals but not to the exchangers. Can someone verify this?

I'd like to know too, as I have not yet bought this card but have been seriously considering it.
E-forexgold are agents for this card and I know e-forexgold is certainly legit. They've been around since 2000.
The Aussie Debit card is supposedly backed by an Australian Bank. I haven't done any due diligence on it, nor have I bought the card yet, so I would be very interested to know if it is working well.
Swanee, have you tried to load it from another computer? Who are you ringing, the Aussie Debit card people, the bank, or E-forexgold? E-forexgold is usually pretty good about replying to support emails.

Re: How can I cashout e-gold now
One member of my forum has proved this exchanger with success:
Getemoney - E-Gold and E-Bullion Exchanger
I have used Getemoney.com to exchange e-gold to e-bullion. 6% which is not bad as some are going as much as 50%.they are Canadian. I am just waiting for the process to be completed Up to 10 days due to the problem.
Just to inform everyone this worked. Transaction completed within 4 days. $150 exchanged for the cost of 6%. I was very pleased with the service, very quick to answer e-mails.
And a friend of mine told me that this one works too:
EuroGoldSales -- Buy e-Gold here -- Buy 1MDC Here --

Re: How can I cashout e-gold now
But do note whatever exchangers that you use right now, you might be losing your gold to unscrupulous scam exchangers who just takes the chance to clear your gold.
They might fulfill small exchanges, but when big ones are concern, that's when they strike. $150 is a small amount. I know many people that needs to exchange amounts alot more than that.
Be wary whom you're dealing the exchange with at least.

Exactly! Be very careful with that. I did some research on eurogoldsales and came across with this site:
Egold Seller Egold Buyer Scamer frauds

Hi 24oz,
I know of someone from another forum who recently used OmniPay without any problems, except that she said that the larger amounts she outxchanged took about three days, as to her smaller outxchanges were done within 24 hours. She also mentioned that other exchangers (the ones that don't have frozen accounts) using OmniPay were still getting their money, but very slowly (probably due to the large amounts being outxchanged). Hope this helps.
HH
BTW- HeyJude, I also noticed that with Goldex about their stop on e-gold outxchanges. Interesting as this must have happened about a few days or so after I posted that Goldex was still outxchanging e-gold.
