Re: WiredSurf
Richard, I think (correct me if i'm wrong) that you mentioned somewhere on WS that you came into the industry because you were friends with 2 other program admins. I don't know if you stated this already elsewhere, but which programs were they?

Re: WiredSurf
Well I don't know if it's wise that I post their names, both owned bigger than life auto surf programs and both are now closed down. One infamous, one not so much. Neither, I might add, are Aaron's if that's what you are getting at.
And when I say friends, they were online friends. I never met these people in RL before.
They have nothing to do with me though and I won't play in to additional conspiracys since I can't see your line of questioning being for any other reason than that Simon.

Forgetting about the past for a bit, since right now it can't be proved one way or the other, what made you think that 8% for 16 days fixed was the right way to go 2nd time round? It must surely rely to a large extent on constant member upgrading, which if we are honest about it, is hardly ideal if something is going to become "long term".
Were you at all swayed by the profitsharing system that is becoming popular now? Not that I believe it is perfect either, but maybe a bit more flexible.

Re: WiredSurf
It was just a percentage we were comfortable with really, and it was our original model, which was only changed because of the unreasonable offers from competing sites.
At this point I am thinking maybe it's pointless, you really have swayed me allright. If we refund as much as we can to old members there will always be someone around to slam our efforts. If we focus just on the program now, older members will be upset. You can't win.
When I launched I thought as long as we took strides to resolve past issues people would give us a chance, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Re: WiredSurf
I think it's just the mentality of this whole thing. Autosurfs, HYIPs, they are scams for the most part. Most will probably give someone one chance, and then thats it, they will shut the door.
Thing is, you can't really help but get sinnacle after a while. If the industry is going to be dominated with scam sites and / or mis-management, then where is the basis for any trust?

Re: WiredSurf
I agree, I do and it's a tough industry to be in. I wouldn't have came back if I didn't have something to prove and fix, and I certainly wouldn't have just started out here if I didn't have the history that I did.

Re: WiredSurf
How would we or what we would do to get our thread moved into some other folder other than this one? If it's to remain here I don't want to bring any more attention to it logically, and would just stop posting. If there's a chance of having it moved over fairly, let me know.

Re: WiredSurf
Sorry, I overlooked that. We are starting that process soon, hopefully our efforts will be acknowledged at that time and no other reasons given to keep us here. I won't hold my breath, but maybe .. we'll see.
