When I made the upgrade, I had 2 plugins (plus one of my own) to make compatible, so it wasn't too much of a problem. Once everyone catches up with the compatibility issue, WP will be back on top!
Someone could make some good money taking "compatibility" requests on.

Oh for sure Simon! But I think most bloggers are just going to stick to 2.2 until the authors of their favorite plugins update the code to work with 2.3
For me the choice was obvious. I only use a few plugins and all of them are compatible with 2.3, so for me using the latest and greatest was a pretty easy decision to make.
