Re: earnbyloaning.com
While we are waiting for the new EBL site to come up...
Sorry, I thought I posted in this thread. I do not like to spend allot of time in forums repeating myself so please look at the EBL forum for the answer to many of your questions. I’ll try to visit here more often.
I need to figure out how to get this forum to email me when someone posts in a topic that I have an interest in?

For a few months I have been working with EBL owner, Craig Jolly, to have him supply my Self Directed ROTH IRA Company with some financial information so I could fund a loan with EBL using my SD-ROTH IRA dollars. Well on June 1, 2007, the wire transfer completed and funded a PLP 2-4 loan ($1001.00 to $25,000.00). I’ll let ya-all guess what the real amount was.
Here’s what doc's I know that he had to supply based on the check list for a New Investment Kit he had to submit. I believe CJ did submit more than what I list here, but I’m not sure.
Quest Holding, INC (EBL)
1) Certificate of Incorporation
2) Articles of Incorporation
3) Offering Memorandum/Business Plan
4) Issuer Representation Letter (Signed by a representative of entity issuing the investment)
5) Craig Jolly signature on my PLP 2-4 loan contract was notarized and faxed by CJ on June 1, 2007.
Later,.

The fact that he did not disclose his “money making” methods gives me a very high confidence that he will keep my deposits safe. Anything I would say (or anyone else for that matter) is speculation and hearsay so why even go there.
I choose to focus on the investigation done by NoBSnetwork, PayPal, Pensco Trust AND the fact that you have a signed lender agreement (loan contract) and a 1099-INT coming as the best DD on any loan program EVER.
Hi Michelle,
Well the “dirt” is we all had a BLAST. Unfortunately, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas so you will just have to come along for the next LV trip to get your own “dirt” or should I say get your own hands dirty. I will say that we stayed at the Stratosphere and CJ did the amusement rides at the top of a 800+ foot tower that jlpicard and I were not willing to do (JLP said he would do it if he had not just ate, right). I have vertigo so just watching CJ on the rides on top of the tower was a thrill ride for me.
I consider Jlpicard (Michael) my brother.
I’m very impressed with his patients, integrity and desire to dig into issues or do the DD to get to the truth and/or solution with a can-do attitude. I wish we were SW Engineers together so we could have been on one of the few DREAM team projects I did in my career.
Here is a email I did and thought it would be appropriate to post here at TG to sum up my LV trip and thoughts about EBL.

I cannot go into detail on what CJ told me in LV. All I'll say is that I am changing my plan to put more dollars into EBL <snip>

Brian, without going into detail, are you saying that the meeting with
CJ has made you feel even better about EBL's long term prospects?

YES. My trip to Las Vegas to meet and have some fun with EBL owner Craig Jolly (CJ) raised my confidence and respect for him as a regular guy who has a "gift" and business model built through hard knocks. IMO, he does not need to put his personal life at risk to help people like me who want a passive income (I'm a lazy bum compared to him). He does not need the money to get what he wants out of life. As I say at WDW ,"Why Do Work when you can make money passively". Well CJ is willing to do the work and I appreciate him for that. CJ and I have a passion too. To help others in need. The beauty of it is we wish to "help" in different ways so in the long run more people are helped.
I do not have a crystal ball so how long EBL will live (IMHHO) depends on the "quality" of the people we get to join. I'm trying to attract serious long-term money (Self Directed ROTH IRA, LLC). If too many members join and do not maintain a "decent" principle balance (i.e. $1001.00 or more), the harder it is for CJ to make returns. He really wants to help out the little guys and gals with the smaller loan amounts and terms (30 day terms) in hope to help them build a better financial base. I really respect him for that. IMO, if he can help 1 out of 10 build a better financial base, he is getting 9 headaches to help 1 person. I do not know if I would be willing to put up with those "headaches"?
The bottom line for me is that I know I will get all my money back no matter what happens to EBL as a business. I also look at the principle of my loans as equity in a home that I rented out where I do not have to deal with the 3 T's (Tenants, Taxes and Toilets)... :lolol:
