Default Re: PPRei

I like the concept. However, I looked through their forum and didn't like what I saw...
  • Their forum hasn't been updated in months.
  • In February the admin mentioned that a new site and forum is in the works. Here it is July and it doesn't look like it was done.
  • Also in February the admin mentioned that PPRei was coming up on their 1 year online anniversary, yet the forum start in October '06.
  • The last been paid post is in November '06. There are very, very few been paid posts. I do understand that real estate takes a LONG time to get payment. So, if none of the properties are earning rental and/or have been sold, then it would explain the few IGP posts. On the other hand, why are there IGP posts only a month after the forum opened and all of the IGP posts are in the same month. I also understand that only a % of people join a program's forum and only a % of those actually post IGP.
  • They had/have an "Early Bird" special plan with set limits, however they say that they passed that limit, but they are keeping the option open anyway.
  • There doesn't seem to be a lot of information out there when I googled them. The information that is there is months old.

I didn't bother to do any DD. The forum posts stink. Has anyone done any DD on them? Are they actually registered anywhere? Where are they located? Who are they? Has anyone looked at the properties to make sure that they are real and are really owned by PRRei? And the list of questions go on and on.

IF they are real, they would be worth it. However, right now I wouldn't advise it, unless some real proof can be found. I won't be signing up until things can be proven. Then I won't actually invest unless I gain my own comfort level. IF they are real, it is well worth the 2 year wait.

Alin: Are you getting regular newsletters from them? That was something else that they announced they will be doing.

JMO,
Sharon
