You may have noticed that address www.wincapita.com has come back to alive. Before your blood pressure will explode your head, calm down.

Here is quote/response from hosting company(ESolutions). This same text is now in finnish media. I believe we can close this case and wait for police to find those scammers.

I cannot tell you who the new customer is, because there is no relation at all between wincapita and this customer. We have a certain number of IP addresses that we give our customer. If one customer is leaving, we will release the IP and a new customer will eventually be assigned that IP address. In this case, the new customer was assigned the old IP that once belonged to wincapita – but it could also have been a different IP, that’s pure luck.

I have read in some forums, that a lot is going on in Finnland and many Wincapita members are trying to contact us, but we cannot help them because we have never met someone from Wincapita – they ordered their server last year around August/September and paid their invoice on time each month until February this year. From this point on, invoices were left unpaid and nobody from wincapita bothered to give us feedback. So about two weeks ago we took the server off the network (the server itself seems to have been emptied and cleaned already by someone from Wincapita, because no data was left on it).

Yesterday a new customer was assigned Wincapita’s old IP address (again: by pure chance) and nobody shall think that this site is back again. I don’t know what is going on, but I’d be happy if our unpaid invoices were settled.

Feel free to ask further questions if you need more information on something, but bare in mind that I have not much to share, because we only sold a server to wincapita – we are no members of this club.
